Absolutely. Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and pCloud use OAuth 2.0 — your password is never shared with the app. For Koofr and custom WebDAV, credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. We recommend app-specific passwords for Koofr so your main password is never entered.
Library paths tell Confinix Stream where to find your media on your cloud storage. The defaults are /Media/Movies and /Media/TV. Go to Settings → Manage Library Paths to customize them to match your folder structure.
When you browse your library, Confinix Stream automatically matches your files against The Movie Database (TMDB) to fetch movie/TV show titles, posters, and backdrop images. This gives you a rich, visual browsing experience.
Yes! Confinix Stream automatically saves your playback position. When you open a video you've previously watched, you'll be prompted to resume from where you left off or start from the beginning.
OAuth 2.0 is a secure, industry-standard authorization method used by Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and pCloud. Instead of entering your password into the app, you sign in directly through the service's website and grant Confinix Stream permission to access your files. You can revoke access anytime from your account settings.
An app-specific password is a separate password generated by Koofr specifically for third-party apps. It allows Confinix Stream to access your files via WebDAV without using your main Koofr password. Follow our setup guide above to create one.
